Featherweight boxer Sergio Sanchez ended his opponent’s night, with one of the most devastating knockouts boxing has ever witnessed. Sanchez faced off against Gustavo Alan Pina at the Gimnasio TV Azteca in Mexico City.
Sanchez dominated his opponent from the very first round Sergio used his height advantage to keep Pina at bay and let lose a series of devastating combos.Sanchez dropped Pina in round 2 with a beautiful 3 punch combo. However, his opponent managed to get back up.

Sergio Sanchez pulled off perhaps the greatest knockout of this year with a well-disguised uppercut.Gustavo Alan Pina was going for a straight jab, however before he could throw that, Sanchez caught up with an uppercut, knocking him out cold.Pina’s condition is not known as of now, but thankfully the fighter responded after initial treatment.

However, the up and coming boxer was knocked out for the first time in career.

Sanchez on the other hand improved his record to (15-1). Perhaps, Sanchez’s experience proved too much for Pina, as both fighters were a class apart during the fight.
The fight was televised by ESPN. The main card featured Emanuel Navarrete vs Uriel Lopez, with Sanchez and Pina fighting on the undercard.
