There have been speculations about an ongoing dispute between Spencer “Hiko” Martin and Timothy “TimtheTatman” Betar after they stopped streaming CSGO with each other. Hiko keeps mentioning Tim on some of his streams, and also mentions how Summit ‘replaced’ him. Recently in an interview on “The CouRage and Nadeshot show” podcast, Hiko called out TimtheTatman as “the worst player ever.”

Overwatch drove a wedge between the CSGO buddies

TimtheTatman hardly plays CSGO anymore. In fact, Overwatch is his main game at the moment. So, no drama there regarding an actual fallout between Hiko and Tim. They had streamed together every single day for two years before Tim stopped playing CSGO and moved on to Overwatch.

But there is one thing that TimtheTatman was criticized for and that is being in over his head. Tim started considering himself a “semi-pro”, and that he was part of the big league. Tim also said that he had to carry Hiko during many matches, although Hiko says that Tim is not that good of a player and was often at the bottom of the board. It was more of harmless trash talk and criticism, rather than a serious outrage that Hiko engaged in, in his interview on “The CouRage and Nadeshot show” podcast.

“If you fought Tim, in real life, who would win?”

Courage asked Hiko on the podcast that if he fought Tim in real life, who would win. Hiko replied by producing an array of sarcastic insults directed at Tim.

“…I have a little hair he can grab on to, he has no hair I can grab on to, so, just by that maybe he has the advantage.”

Hiko goes on to add, “Looking how good he is in video games, I guarantee he cannot fight for anything in his life… I don’t think he can play video games, I think he can’t aim, there’s a lot of things he can’t do, so I don’t think fighting is something he can do either.”

Yin and Yang

In the interview, Hiko talks about the chemistry between him and TimtheTatman and he describes their pair as two beings who are polar opposites of each other. Hiko says, “We’re kinda like the yin and the yang. I’m calm… Tim is like the opposite, you know, loud, obnoxious, funny…”

Hiko goes on to add that he was the bigger streamer when Tim had first approached him.

“I’ve been playing with him since he was the baby streamer with 500 views… I was the bigger streamer.

All this was more of a casual banter from Hiko’s side, although TimtheTatman has proved himself to be quite boastful. He even tried to insult s1mple (currently in Natus Vincere) while playing with him some four years ago.
