Nico Hulkenberg suffered a bad start and was side-by-side with Romain Grosjean and the German did not leave the Haas driver any space which caused him to flip over. His car somersaulted thrice before coming to a stop upside down.

He was fine as his engineer spoke to him after the incident and marshals were quickly on the scene to recover him from the car and douse the fire.
