Reflecting back to the Australian Open 2021, Djokovic won his third-round match against Taylor Fritz on Friday. During the match, he tore his muscle close to his rib cage.

After solidifying an initial two-set lead, the American tennis player came back into the match, taking advantage of the Serb’s condition.

However, Djokovic, being the player he is, found a way to shrug off his pain and recorded the win eventually, stepping up his game in the deciding set. He will take on Canada’s Milos Raonic in the fourth-round later today.
