Tennis and the world are battling against the pandemic outbreak tirelessly. While many suffered from the ramifications of the coronavirus, many came forward to restore the balance. Recently, Spain’s Rafael Nadal took some time off to interact with the kids at his Rafa Nadal Foundation.

Nadal has the most diverse personality when it comes to being an athlete and a massively followed sportsperson. His all-heat attitude on the court has brought him invincible records, and his all-heart demeanour off the court has won him lifelong fans. In his conversation with the kids, Nadal shared some valuable advice.

The Spaniard is a 20 time Grand Slam winner, equalled with Roger Federer in most major titles record. Being at the top of the tennis world for so long, the 34-year-old has learnt a few more things than the rest. He relays the ideals that tennis brings in an individual’s life.

Nadal said, “We do what we do because we believe that through sport, we can create great learning experiences such as friendship, teamwork, effort and the will to succeed.”

One of the greatest things about the ‘King of Clay’ is that he majors in every aspect of life. His effort and his insatiable drive to make a difference both in and outside tennis have touched countless lives. However, Nadal highlights the simple pleasures of lives that every child deserves.

In his journey to 86 ATP titles, Rafa has remained consistently in the Top 10 more than any player. Additionally, he has never laid down his fighting spirit as he keeps learning and improving year after year. The Spanish champion then asked the kids of their experience at the centre and gave them a motivational boost.

“I hope you keep enjoying your time at the centre, that you make lots of friends, that you learn a lot. And, most certainly, keep having fun, which is the most important thing,” ended Nadal. Watch the whole video below.

Nadal showcased his magnum potential at the 2020 French Open, lifting his record 13 title on the same turf. He will carry forward with the same spirit as he sets out to win the 2021 Australian Open.
