Nathan Chen is the new star of the United States. The 3-time World Champion is now also the Olympic champion. Chen had always dreamt of winning the Olympic Gold and finally, he did it all by himself; his first individual gold at the Olympics.

An important part of any athlete’s journey is their team. The US figure skating team is one of the best in the world. They won the Silver medal at the Beijing Olympics.

In a rare video, Nathan Chen was seen having some fun with his teammates in the stands. He was spotted having a good time with the team which is like a family.

Nathan Chen is known for his very cute and goofy character. The star figure skater is now the 2022 Olympic Champion. He gave a flawless performance to the tunes of “Rocket Man”. With a score of 113.97, he set a new world record and grabbed the Gold Medal.

Chen was also part of the Silver medal-winning team at the figure skating team event. The United States Figure Skating team gave a stunning performance and was satisfied with their podium finish.

A video has recently emerged where Chen is seen goofing around with some athletes from Team USA. He is seen with Jean-Luc Baker, Mariah Bell, and several other members of the Team.

Chen is seen wearing a blue pullover and grooving to some tunes in the stands of the ice rink. Along with him, his other team members were also seen having some fun.

A Chinese fan page of Nathan Chen shared this video via Twitter. Fans also loved this “goofy” video of Chen.

“That is so cute! I love watching Nathan and his friends being all goofy!” tweeted a user.

It is really nice to see these athletes have some fun because they work hard so much for that one moment. They put everything else behind to work on their passion. Seeing them have some fun once in a while is quite heartwarming.

Nathan Chen opens up about Vincent Zhou’s setback

It was disheartening for the US Figure Skating Team when they received the news about Vincent Zhou testing positive for Covid.  Chen has opened up about how the team dealt with the sudden news.

“We learned the news when we were at the team ceremony, actually, and we were all shocked. It hurts when it’s one of your own,” said Chen.

Moreover, Vincent was a Gold Medal contender so it really affected the team. Chen also revealed that they couldn’t contact him at all, as he was in strict isolation.
