Recently, JTG Daugherty Racing driver Ryan Preece shared a short video featuring himself. The video itself acted like a teaser for something bigger, though the driver insisted that there’s no announcement on the horizon. As is turned out, the video kicked off with a scene from the Kansas Speedway, where he got taken out of the race. During that incident, he had a hard impact with the wall.
In a voiceover, he said, “You want to know about being a great driver, you got to flat out believe it ain’t going to happen. I don’t care how bad that wreck is, you walk away from it because you’re so damn tough. They couldn’t castrate you with a chainsaw. You best be willing to pay that price.”

The video then showcased his various victories in the NASCAR scene and before it. All in all, the video played like a movie trailer and was titled ‘Chasing Trophies‘. Ryan Preece later revealed that it was a video by the Twitter user ‘9DCreative’.

What lies ahead for Ryan Preece?
At the moment, the driver is not in the running for the Playoffs, so he is not under pressure on that front. Instead, his worry comes from the fact that JTG Daugherty is downgrading to one car. With teammate Ricky Stenhouse Jr looking like the better candidate to remain with the team, Preece is out of a drive.

Owing to this, he will treat the remainder of these races as an extended audition. To be precise, he will aim to produce as many good results as possible. Only then can he move up in the championship and get another team to notice him. Of course, he will not be the only one, so it is a race to see who completes the jigsaw puzzle.
