The pressure was on Conor McGregor when he squared off against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246. He was coming from a long layoff and it had been years since Conor got his hands raised in the octagon. Well, no one in the UFC shines the brightest when the pressure is at its peak.

Conor McGregor stepped into the octagon and did what he claimed he would, create magic. It took 40 seconds for Conor to finish a fighter like Donald Cerrone who has more than 40 fights in his resume. For the first time in his career, Cowboy lost a fight without throwing a single significant strike. And that shows the magnitude of greatness we witnessed last night.

Now that the dust has settled, it’s a little celebration time for Conor. And Conor sure does know how to throw a big party. Conor McGregor had the after-party at the Encore Beach Club according to his posts on social media. Conor also took a sip of his Proper 12 whiskey with his team backstage after the emphatic return. But he promised he won’t have too much fun for too long with the whiskey and will get his mind back into the game.

What is Next For Conor McGregor

Now that Conor has won his fight fans have started speculating who will he fight next. Right now it looks like the stage is set for a rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov and UFC president, Dana White agrees with that notion too. But the fans want the BMF title to be defended against the Notorious One. Jorge Masvidal vs Conor McGregor is the fight fans want. Besides that Conor also want to go for the third title by challenging Kamaru Usman for the UFC welterweight title. With all these great fights on the table, it would be intriguing to see who Conor faces next inside the UFC octagon.
