WATCH: The World’s Fastest Editor In Fortnite

Fortnite battle royale has been going through some tough times of late. The recent fiasco which took place with respect to the competitive scenario split the community apart. Amongst all this, we also saw the world champion Bugha being warned for cheating. In between all this tension, a quick change of pace seems like a welcome sight in Fortnite.

What could be better than getting to know how to build quicker than everyone else in the game! After all, the game is a building game set in a BR format. Thus, it necessitates one to be impeccable at the art of building. It might seem simple, aligning cones, flats, and stairs but it is quite difficult.

Ali-A, one of the most popular Fortnite content creators, showed us one such example in his video. The world record holder for 52 edits in just 7 seconds is explicitly shown with the handcam.

For those of us who have an idea about building quickly, the idea of 52 edits in 7 seconds is outrageous. Even for the pros who do this for a living, they have to take regular courses to practice editing. To do it this quickly in a tournament or a real game would be exceedingly ambitious. However, it is a pretty good trick to have up the sleeve.

The player who has done this @Flea, if one searches through his videos, they will notice a peculiar way of handling the keyboard and mouse. Ali A also commented on the way he holds his gear to maximize efficiency, in the end, timing is everything. Nevertheless, with the direction the game is taking, it is necessary to learn to edit quicker.

As pointed earlier, the dissatisfaction of the pros and content creators is quite visible these days. Epic Games is not having a great time with tournaments either. The age-old question of servers being too weak is still cropping up in every tournament. 

In these times, we have no idea what the new mechanic might be in the new season, perhaps there won’t be one. Although, with season 3 we have seen that Epic are not worried about experimentation. Perhaps this time it will not be with the water levels. Regardless, quicker editing skills mean better ways to win the battle, a crucial ability for any player.
