“We’ve just been sort of friends the whole time, kept in vague touch and seen each other at the ESPYs almost every year, and other places. So one thing led to another, and we realized how similar we were, and yeah, that got the ball rolling,” Patrick said in an interview two years ago.

The two sports personalities officially came out as couple when Rodgers was seen giving Patrick a kiss before her final NASCAR race. They dated for two years. The couple brokes fans’ hearts when they announced their split in July 2020. Here’s a throwback to Patrick’s appearance on The Jimmy Kimmel Show.

Danica Patrick recalls meeting Dalai Lama along with Aaron Rodgers

Patrick spoke about her then blossoming relationship with Rodgers on this particular episode of The Jimmy Kimmel Show. She also spoke about how the couple met with the Dalai Lama during a trip to Dharamsala, India. She said she got the Dalai Lama to watch some of her NASCAR crash videos, which left the wise monk in shock. Patrick also added that it was a task to cheer for boyfriend Aaron Rodgers’ Green Bay Packers since she grew up a Chicago Bears fan.

“The hardest thing is I grew up right on the state line of Wisconsin. was born in Wisconsin but we lived in Illinois, so my dad grew up with all Packers fans. What he says is I’m not against the Packers, I’m against the Packers fans. So I don’t know what that really means because now I’m a Packers fan. I guess we’ll have to talk about that,” Patrick said on the show.
