Venus Williams Is Training With Her US Open Trophy

In the above post, we see Venus Williams and Rob Gronkowski training with their respective trophies. Venus is using her US Open trophy while Rob is using his Super Bowl counterpart. They are working out and chatting with each other at the same time.

Tennis fans will surely be wondering, which US Open trophy is Venus using? This is because she has won the US Open 2 times in her career – in 2000 and in 2001. Venus hasn’t told us which one but most likely it will be the US Open 2000 trophy as it was her first Major at Flushing Meadows.

After seeing Venus Williams train, I think we all should be inspired to work out like her. She is going to be 40 years old this year and she is still able to train like a machine. She is going to be fit as a fiddle when the WTA Tour resumes after suspension.

Speaking of the WTA Tour, I am sure fans are waiting to see some tennis again. Unfortunately, that’s not going to happen for a while. The WTA Tour has already been suspended till July and if the situation does not get better soon, it is likely we will not see any tennis in 2020. This is something that no tennis fan wants.

Venus Williams certainly does not want this to happen. She wants to win one last Grand Slam to close her career in the most spectacular fashion. The way she is training, I am sure she will win it easily when the season resumes.
