How did Rafael Nadal react to his fan crossing limits?
Rafael Nadal was playing at the US Open and had just completed a victory over Frenchman Gael Monfils. As a shirtless Rafa was talking to the media, a male fan broke past security and planted a big kiss across the cheek of Rafael Nadal.
However, a jovial Rafa was very sporting about the incident despite the obvious breach of his consent and his private space. Even though he was initially surprised, Rafa event went on to hug the man after he gained his composure. This made for a hilarious sequence of events.

However, the police in the Queens area wasn’t that understanding of the display of affection by the fan. The man was identified as Noam Arts who was charged with criminal trespassing. This meant that he became liable for a prison term of up to one year and $5000 in fines.

“For me it wasn’t a problem. The guy was really nice. He was a great fan, he said ‘I love you’ and he kiss me.”
