Nate Diaz is one of the most thrilling fighters to watch in the octagon. There aren’t many UFC fighters who are still at the top of the game after serving for more than 20 years for UFC. Nate Diaz’s incredible growth as a UFC fighter knows no bound. He has notable victories against the likes of former world champions, Conor McGregor and Anthony Pettis.

Diaz brings excitement to the match with his careless attitude and trash-talking inside the octagon. In addition, he has pulled off some of the most brilliant matches of UFC. Something similar happened when Diaz faced former title contender Gray Maynard back in 2013.

Diaz shows his incredible boxing

Diaz faced Maynard for the second time in his UFC career. Maynard defeated Diaz via split decision at UFC Fight Night back in 2010. In their second fight, the story was entirely different.

Nate Diaz was coming off his first knockout loss against Josh Thompson but looked confident nonetheless. Diaz pushed Maynard near the cage in the first few seconds of the match, for an incredible takedown. And it was a Diaz show from thereon. He kicked and executed significant strikes before doing the last rites. Diaz showed his incredible boxing, as he completely dominated Maynard in their re-match. He finished the fight under three minutes with a flurry of punches that left Maynard absolutely shellshocked. Diaz, who is known as a volume puncher more than a knockout artist, showed why he is one of the biggest names in UFC.

Nate Diaz suffered an unfortunate loss against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244. After a poor start in the initial rounds, Masvidal overpowered Diaz with his hard-hitting. One of these shots rendered a cut on his eyes. The doctors decided to stop the fight in the third round, with Masvidal picking up the victory via Doctor Stoppage.

It’s still not official, who Diaz’s next opponent will be, but it seems likely that he is ready for another match. Originally scheduled to face Poirier at UFC 230, the match fell apart due to many reasons. He could square off against Dustin Poirier at the welterweight if the Diamond is interested in jumping weights. It seems likely considering their recent back and forth on Twitter.

I low-key like Dana White and his decisions, but that doesn't mean I am not a fan of super fights. Always up for a chat related to UFC, I am a passionate filmmaker.
