American stars Serena Williams and her sister Venus Williams are two of the greatest players to have ever played tennis. They have achieved so much and it came through a lot of hard work by them and also their father- Richard Williams.

The sisters would not have reached the level they have without him. And to honor him, a movie is coming out next year titled ‘King Richard.’

This project was announced back in March 2019, and the person playing Richard Williams is none other than Will Smith. Like any actor, he had to transform into character, and from recent photos, it looks like he has succeeded.

More Details About The Upcoming film on Venus and Serena Williams’ Father

The film ‘King Richard’ has been written by Zach Baylin and it is being produced by Warner Bros. In addition to Will Smith, other members of the cast are Demi Singleton and Saniyya Sidney, who are playing the Williams’ sisters, and Aunjanue Ellis who will be playing their mother.

Clearly, there is a great team that is involved in the production of the film. And that is why we can expect it to be an astounding success when it releases on November 19, 2021.

It is going to be a while before we get to watch the on Richard Williams. Thankfully, we’ll still be able to watch Serena and Venus play tennis. Unfortunately, they have experienced a drop in form, but we can expect them come back stronger and put up a good showing at the Australian Open that will begin in January.
