Dan Lambert is the founder and owner of the premier MMA fighting team and facility in the sport, American Top Team.
Dan Lambert recently sat down for an interview where he spoke about the UFC and the current situation it’s facing. One of the topics of the interview was also a possibility of fighters from ATT fighting each other. Being the owner and founder of ATT, Lambert isn’t fond of fighters from his team fighting against each other.
Though Dan lambert really doesn’t have a say in how the players are matched by the UFC or if they accept or reject fights, he sure doesn’t like it. He would rather have them fight people who didn’t belong to ATT. Doing so will help keep ATT strong and united.

Colby Covington has shown a huge interest in fighting Jorge Masvidal. Both these fighters belong to ATT. Though this match isn’t soon arising, its something both the fighters might want.
Dan Lambert has a new policy in place for ATT. A zero-tolerance policy. This was created as a result of a lot of back and forth and trash-talking going down at the facilities. Colby Covington and his antics were primarily why Dan put out this policy. So now that Colby might actually end up fighting someone from ATT, what does Lambert tink of it?

Lambert said, “I never want to see my guys fight each other. I understand if it’s a big fight or a money fight or for a title or number 1 contenders. But I don’t want to see Woodley fight Colby. I don’t want to see Jorge fight Colby. I don’t want to see anybody fight.”
But there isn’t much Dan Lambert can do if the fights go down. He doesn’t get to pick and choose the fights and he’s aware of that. He says he’ll deal with the situation if it ever arises.

Dan Lambert said, “I understand this is a part of the business. We don’t get to pick the fights. I certainly don’t get to pick the fights. If it happens, it happens! We’ll prepare for it. Obviously, if Colby is to fight Jorge, S#*t is going to get talked, and we’ll deal with that when the time comes.”
Dan Lambert clearly doesn’t want these two to fight. Do you wanna see Colby Covington take on Korge Masvidal.
