India have registered a convincing win over West Indies in the 1st T20I. They are ready to take on each other on the 2nd at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram. While India won on the back of Kohli‘s splendid batting, it is a matter of concern about their middle order as well as bowling and fielding. India had a dismal show in the batting where Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant all failed to score. It was only KL Rahul and captain Virat Kohli who took the side to the finish line. The bowlers too failed to restrict the opponents within a below-par. Moreover, they had a sloppy fielding and faced criticisms as well.

However, despite the failures, the team management would like to continue with the same playing XI and it seems Sanju Samson has to wait outside alongside Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav.
