For the 2021 NASCAR season, Corey LaJoie will no longer race for Go Fas Racing. The 28-year-old told The Athletic that he took the decision while keeping in mind his and the team’s best interests.

He said, “It’s something we both kind of expected. I’ve been trying to position myself to get me and my partners in the most competitive spot, and I feel like I’m experienced enough to take the next step competitively.”

LaJoie is aware that the team has been eyeing prospective drivers who could bring some money into the team. This is why he and the team are placing themselves on the market for prospective recruits and employers.

The driver confirmed talks with multiple teams and is confident of landing a better ride in 2021. The good news is that Corey LaJoie has the help of sponsors like Schluter Systems, Built Bar, and Drydene.

According to the 28-year-old, Brad Keselowski mentioned a model where drivers bring money to a team. This is why Corey was been able to snag partners who stuck with him and aided him in every way.
