It is fairly obvious that sports stars are incredible athletes, and have to be in peak condition. The same applies to motor racing drivers, including NASCAR drivers. However, in 2014, Danica Patrick seemingly took fitness to the next level. In a Super Bowl commercial for her sponsor Go Daddy, she was seen sporting massive biceps and a ripped body.

In fact, she looked like a professional bodybuilder, though not quite at the level of Arnold Schwarzenegger. It was truly incredible to see the racing driver sport such a physique. In fact, Patrick was in the commercial with other bodybuilders, who were just as muscled as her.

Danica Patrick did not actually work out to get that kind of body

Unfortunately, the NASCAR star later revealed that it was actually a body suit. It is worth mentioning though, that the suit took around three hours to put on. First and foremost, she was forced to wear a skin-tight body suit, before wearing a foam-based muscled neck. To complete the look, she had tan-coloured make-up to blend the muscled neck and the suit to her own skin colour.

She confessed, “It’s tough to turn because it glued to my neck, the extra piece. Other than turning and circulation”. Of course, she was able to overcome a few issues and even hit the gym to show off her new physique. Safe to say, Patrick enjoyed herself thoroughly, even though putting on the suit or taking off, was a bit of a headache.

Since that advertisement, she has been competing in the NASCAR Cup Series. In that same year, she managed to impress with three Top 10 finishes. Beyond that, she took three more Top 10 finishes, including two in the 2015 campaign, and one in the 2017 season. Sadly, that proved to be her final full-time NASCAR season, as she only took part in one 2018 race before walking away entirely.
