New Horizons has captured a larger-than-life perspective and has done so by representing the player’s imagination in a way that has never been seen before.
Moreover, Animal Crossing has received regular updates that have kept the game fresh with countless activities for them to go about. The Halloween update gave the players a hint of what they can expect soon.

Cooking could be the next big activity to make its way to New Horizons. It will enable the players to cook meals using available seasonal items.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons has a massive ‘treat’ for its ardent players
New Horizons was probably the first title in the franchise to feature crafting as an activity. The players can use any seasonal item to craft a plethora of items. These can be used to decorate their islands and homes. But the players also have the prerogative to sell them off for a copious amount of bells.
The harvest festival will soon come to Animal Crossing. It will roll out on the fourth Thursday of November. The festival will be all about cooking lip-smacking dishes for the villagers, celebrating the resources from the players’ islands.

The Halloween update made it possible for players to farm pumpkins. But with the harvest festival in the offing, the list of vegetables and resources that can be home-grown include potato, tomato, carrot, and so on.
These vegetables could also bring in more DIY recipes similar to the Halloween update that had brought in several DIY recipes that had pumpkins as a nucleus. These recipes might make it possible to both cook and craft more items that will be palatable and decorative.

In addition, an array of vegetables will also bring in heaps of extra activities. These crops will need to be watered every day for a good harvest. However, all this remains rather uncertain until late November comes around.
It will be exciting to see whether cooking makes its way to the title or Animal Crossing just focuses its attention on food-related items. Until then, stay tuned for more updates!
