USMNT is in full rebuild mode. Qatar World Cup brought out an amazing performance from the team. Fans are excited to see what the future has in store for the team. The USA will host the next edition of the world cup. Being one of the host countries of the tournament, fans are excited to see USMNT make a miracle run.
The team is ready to build a roaster that can make a run better than the 2022 World Cup. The first and immediate hurdle in this rejuvenation path of the team is finding a head coach.
USMNT made an amazing run in the Qatar 2022 WC. They made it to the knockouts on the back of their magical midfield. The biggest achievement USMNT had was stopping high-flying England at a goalless draw. They entered the round of 16 at the end of a win against Iran. However, their run would be halted by the Netherlands, it was regardless a solid run.

Thierry Henry on possibly becoming USMNT manager
During a pre-game talk on CBS, they asked former Monaco boss Thierry Henry about the potential of him joining the USMNT. Amid all the scraping and scouting the team is doing this question had fans guessing about the potential of the team. Getting a big coach is everything and a big roaster always has a solid head coach as the base of any team. One such name is MLS legend, Thierry Henry.

Thierry Henry said, “Would I want to be a manager at any level? Yes! Of course. That’s one of the thing I would like to do. But to go back to how the situation is with the US national team and US in general is that at one point you know, what’s the plan? The philosophy, what do you want to be?”

It is yet to be clear who will the USA national team end up with. However, they have to take a decision really soon as a big tournament is about to come knocking. The USA might soon have to face Argentina or Brazil or any big South American team.
Big test-time incoming
Amid this rebuild, the USA will be hosting the 2024 edition of Copa America. They might have to play against Lionel Messi-led Argentina or Neymar-led Brazil. The new head coach will definitely have a substantial amount of pressure on him to make positive results out of the team in the tournament.
