The bout will take place on the 26th of February and their fight will most likely headline the event.

Both fighters are extremely skilled and have displayed some incredible technique in the octagon. The winner of this fight is likely to get a shot at the title, and will very possibly go up to the position of the number one contender.

Even though Islam Makhachev has made his last few fights look very easy and has absolutely dominated his opponents, this might not be the case against Dariush. Beneil Dariush is a very skilled striker and is also incredible on the grappling side.

His Jiu-Jitsu skills are one of the best we’ve seen. They have helped him overcome some of the top fighters in the division. Some of these names include Tony Ferguson, Thiago Moisés, and Carlos Diego Ferreira.

The fight is certain to be a nail-biter, owing to the nature and fighting style of both the contenders.

Is Islam Makhachev Khabib Nurmagomedov’s brother?

Even though both fighters look similar in appearance and hail from the same places, Islam and Khabib are not biologically related. Makhachev used to train under Nurmagomedov’s father, who also trained Khabib.
