NBA legend Kobe Bryant’s death was very tragic to the sports world. It has now been a year since his death and he had many cherishable and funny moments with tennis legend Roger Federer. One such moment happened back in 2015, as Federer dropped a brilliant answer to one of Kobe’s challenges on Twitter.

Kobe Bryant had tweeted for an emoji challenge on Twitter. And soon later Federer gave a brilliant reply to Kobe.

Federer showed that Kobe Bryant’s name is an emoji. The Swiss Master split ‘Kobe Bryant’ into four sections. The name was then read as Ko-Bee Bry-ant. So here Federer replaced ‘bee’ and ‘ant’ with their respective emojis, thus showing that Kobe Bryant can be written with emojis.

Kobe Bryant labels Roger Federer as GOAT

Kobe Bryant has been a keen follower of Roger Federer. The NBA legend had hailed Federer as the Greatest of All-time when the Swiss Master won his 20th Grand Slam title at the Australian Open 2018.

“Simple. Roger Federer = [GOAT emoji]” Kobe tweeted.

Many other tennis players paid their tributes to Kobe Bryant and his daughter. Kobe and his daughter Gianna died in a fatal helicopter crash in January 2020. Thus remembering them, Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic, Naomi Osaka, and many others went on social media to pay tribute to Kobe.

Serena shared a post on her Instagram and said, “Your legacy continues to inspire. We remember this always.”

World No.1 Novak Djokovic remembered his good friend Kobe Bryant and posted an Instagram story about the ‘Black Mamba’.

“Forever Mamba. I love you, my friend,” Djokovic wrote.

Most of the players participating in Australian Open 2021 will see their 14-day quarantine ending soon. Now they can practice freely and can go anywhere in Australia. There are many events leading up to the Australian Open 2021, which begins on the 8th of February.
