Bernhard Langer won the PNC Championship alongside his son, Jason Langer, and tied the record for most wins (5) with Raymond Floyd. The German-descent golfer has been on the rise since his debut in the 70s and is considered one of the best German golfers.

From the alleys of West Germany, Langer has traveled through all the golf-playing continents. After spending more than 30 years playing and traveling through countries, Langer has found himself two homes, one in America and one in Germany.

The 2x Masters winner was born in Anhausen in West Germany in 1957. After getting inspired by his brother’s caddying, Langer too visited the golf courses in Anhausen, which were only about 200. As the German turned pro in 1972, he started his traveling journey from Germany to America, to Asia, and the various parts of Europe.

Although Langer now has two homes, he mostly stays in America. The home away from home in America is in the state of Florida in Boca Raton at the Woodfield Country Club. In 2008, Langer described how easy the Germany-to-America transition was.
