American star Serena Williams has been one of the most successful tennis players of all time. She has won 23 Grand Slams and in addition to that, she has also picked up 843 match wins!
Clearly, a win against Serena is incredibly special, and it begs the question – who has beaten her the most number of times? Well, the answer to this question is none other than her sister Venus Williams.

Serena and her sister have met 31 times throughout their careers. In these match ups, Venus has managed to score victories 12 times. This is the most that any player has won against Serena and many are surely eager to know Venus’ secret.
In Grand Slams, Venus has faced Serena 15 times with 9 of these face offs coming at the finals stage. Unfortunately, she just won two of those encounters. The Williams’ sisters’ rivalry is one of the sport’s greatest. Between 2002-03, Venus and Serena faced off in four consecutive Major finals.

Venus was definitely Serena’s greatest rival but there are others who have also challenged her. Martina Hingis is one of those players as she faced off against Serena 13 times with a record of 6-7. Others include Jennifer Capriati with a 7-10 record and Justine Henin with a 6-8 record.
