However, most of the popularity that Judy has is owed to her TV appearances. Some might argue that these have helped her build her brand separately from her popular son. This has helped her in being recognized as way more than just Andy Murray’s mother.
Judy Murray’s most famous TV appearance was as a contestant in the 12th series of British reality show ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in 2014. She was eliminated in the eighth week.

She has also appeared as a guest judge on ‘The Great British Menu’ as contestants made three spectacular Wimbledon themed courses.
More recently, she appeared on the first episode of ‘All Round to Mrs. Brown’s’ on BBC One alongside the likes of Pamela Anderson and Louis Walsh.
It seems like tennis runs in the family when it comes to the Murrays. It will also not be wrong to say that the Murray brothers’ success on the court is a result of the hard work put in by Judy behind the scenes and as a vocal supporter on the sidelines during their matches.
