Will Halo Make A Comeback To The Esports Scene?

The most awaited XBOX game of the year: Halo Infinite is presently one of the most discussed topics. As Halo is eyeing a power-packed return, fans of the franchise seem to want more than just another FPS game. Halo esports is the talk of the town. The multiplayer has been confirmed and it is also going to be Free-to-play. Will fans see their favorite Halo pros go back to the competitive scene with the game?

There are even rumors of a battle royale mode but that seems more fiction than fact, at the moment. But honestly, who wouldn’t like a battle royale by 343 Studios? It might just be one of the coolest additions to BR genre. Halo did receive some criticism when the first look at the gameplay was released; nevertheless, we can always hope the final product is going to be satisfactory.

Is NRG going to sign Maniac for Halo roster?

Recently signed in by the Chicago Huntsmen, Nick ‘Maniac’ Kershner is making some news. In a recent tweet, NRG tagged Maniac saying almost nothing but raising a storm of questions;

Maniac retweeted with an emoji but that is where the questions began. Is NRG planning a roster? It is not impossible, so to speak. Shotzzy, from the Dallas Empire, might be playing Call Of Duty professionally at the moment, but there is a chance the former Halo World Champion might join a Halo roster if it happens. He even spoke about it, live on stream, a few weeks ago. Meanwhile, more news coming out of NRG as the CEO himself, Andy Miller took to Twitter with this;

He talks about August being a ‘transformational month’ for the organization and many believe this could be news about a new roster for the XBOX game. This is all speculation at present while we wait for more news to come out. Until then, let’s hope for an epic return of Halo Esports.
