The 19-time Grand Slam champion suggested that he now needs to wait because everything is not clear in the image. However, the Mallorcan explained that he will do everything to play in London.
“Hopefully things will be better. I hope to be ready for London. That’s the biggest goal now. But as I said before, I can’t guarantee anything because just happened today,” said Rafael Nadal in the press conference at the Rolex Paris Masters 2019.

The Spaniard further added: “We need to wait for hours to see exactly how big is the issue because now we can’t see exactly in the image yet. We need to wait a little bit more and then we’ll have a better way to let you know what’s going on.”
Nadal’s team reports have suggested that the results of the MRI will be known on Tuesday morning and a decision on the ATP World Tour Finals participation will be made after that.
Nadal will dethrone Novak Djokovic from the No.1 position in the ATP rankings on Monday regardless of Djokovic’s result at the Rolex Paris Masters 2019 finals.
