The American tennis ace, Serena Williams has debuted on the list of Forbes’ Most Powerful Women. Williams is the seventh-youngest woman on the Forbes’ register and she has established herself on the number 79 spot. Also, she is just two places behind Beyoncé. Beyond her on-court glories, she is one among the Top Ten Twitter’s most tweeted-about athletes. On that list, Williams happens to be the only woman along with  LeBron James, Colin Kaepernick, Kobe Bryant, Kyrie Irving, Tom Brady and Dwyane Wade. After having a complicated delivery of her first child, with five months of time, Serena announced her participation in the Australian Open.

In addition to that, she has been ranked as the highest paid female athlete for the third straight year. Her earrings summed up to $18.1 million this year, besides staying out from the court for a long time. She is definitely unstoppable on the court, she is a mother and an astute businesswoman. She inaugurated her clothing line this year and purchased a stake in the Miami Dolphins. Also, she inaugurated her first pop-up shop at the Faena Bazaar during Art Basel in Miami. “I absolutely love this collection because it represents all the facets of my life as an athlete, entrepreneur, and now, a mother,” said Serena. Despite having a rancorous major final at Flushing Meadows, Williams turned out to be a hero after the U.S. Tennis Association and the Women’s Tennis Association backed her statement of inequality in standards between men and women tennis players.

Williams will begin her 2019 tennis season two days before the season officially starts. She would fly to Abu Dhabi after Christmas. She will be playing tennis at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship for the second consecutive year. Last year, she lost to Jelena Ostapenko in Abu Dhabi. And this year she would play her sister Venus.
