The Big Diesel spoke the truth about fame and money on his podcast. Narrating an experience with the younger kids, Shaq felt everyone is hungry for fame. However, the Los Angeles Lakers legend wants people to focus on finishing their education.

For him, being popular is secondary. Taking care of the family and getting proper education should be the main goal.

During the recent episode of ‘The Big Podcast’ Shaq spoke on the topic with host Nischelle Turner. He said: “You want to be famous, you need to focus on being rich my young brother. Forget the fame, go get that money. Go get your education. You know, go get you a business that’s going to bring you money forever so you can buy your mama a house”.

And the Big Diesel follows what he preaches.

For Shaquille O’Neal, his mother wanted him to finish his education. So despite making a living from the NBA, he finished his degree after retirement. Likewise, he has the same rule for all his children. During an appearance on the Ellen Show, Shaq spoke about his household rules.

He said to touch any of his earnings, his children need to present him with two degrees. For the Big Diesel, having a stable life is more important than any kind of fame and name. Likewise, he wants to lead by example.
