The Chi-town Barbie knows how to slay on the hardwood as her rookie year is turning out to be quite a blast. Perhaps this is the reason why her long list of admirers includes high-profile names such as the 3x Grammy Award winner Megan Thee Stallion. Reese unveiled the next chapter in her special bond with the rapper through her latest Instagram story.

The story features a special thank you note from Megan Thee Stallion. The note reads, “Thank you so much for your support and for making this an unforgettable Hot Girl Summer!” Following this, the Chicago rookie showed special gratitude from her side as well. Reese’s caption says, “Thank you to my hottie sister!”

The journey of this special friendship commenced last month when the ferocious Chicago No. 5 visited one of the concerts of Megan Thee Stallion held in the Windy City. On top of that, she even decided to make the event more memorable by sharing the stage with the 29-year-old.

Then, the eminent rapper made some interesting revelations about how Angel Reese is a huge inspiration for her in case she tries a hand at basketball. In the Club Shay Shay Podcast, she expressed, “There’s a goal in the back and sometimes I go back there and I’ll be messing around. This is so random but I be thinking I’m really Angel Reese when I be back there.” 

Stallion’s conversation with Shannon Sharpe soon got the attention of Angel Reese. She posted the specific clip on her X account, captioned, “My stallion sister said what she saidddd.” Meanwhile, rappers are not the only ones having an amicable equation with Angel Reese.

The Chicago Sky are all set to lock horns against the Seattle Storm in their upcoming fixture. And we can expect YouTube and TikTok phenom Madison Denise to show up at the Climate Pledge Arena. She recently expressed her desire to witness Angel Reese in action through X.

In the post, she wrote, “I was bouta say I wanna go to a WNBA game but really I just wanna go to an Angel Reese game.” Soon after, Reese noticed and reverted to it by tweeting, “madi boo i’m waiting to see youuuu.” Anyhow, for that to happen, Denise will need to travel from her native place, Charlotte, North Carolina, to Seattle.

Clearly, Angel Reese does have a fair share of glamour in her fandom. The way she is realising her true potential on the hardwood surely will open the gates for some more. It will be interesting to see who else can be influenced by her specific skill set.
