Currently, A’ja Wilson is playing for the Las Vegas Aces. She is playing in a best-of-series against the New York Liberty to secure the 2023 WNBA championship. Game 3 of this series took place on Sunday. While Wilson was in the middle of a pregame warmup, she was surprised by her NCAA coach before the game.

In the middle of her pregame warmup, Wilson suddenly spotted her WNBA Hall of Famer and NCAA coach, Dawn Staley, courtside. The surprise and happiness on Wilson’s face left the fans in awe. She squealed in joy with a burst of excitement, just like a little kid who received an unexpected gift.
