However, most people don’t know that the Aces had their fair share of doubters who did not believe they could reign over the Liberty.

In a recent post by A’ja on her Instagram, she looks back at the times she had laughed a little harder. Undoubtedly, one of those times was when she and her team won the WNBA Finals again in 2023 and got to ask the haters “Who’s laughing now?!” The image she shared was a collage of various well-known identities voting for the WNBA finalist of 2023– New York Liberty. Moreover, some betted on the Liberty winning by 4 matches while some betted on them winning by 5 matches. It is definitely a funny moment when you prove so many people wrong, win back-to-back, and also grab the MVP trophy all in one go.
