Nearly a year ago, Angel Reese signed a multi-year extension with Reebok, a deal that promised something big: her very own signature shoe. The Angel Reese 1 was originally set to launch in 2026, but as Angel revealed on her podcast, Reebok decided it wasn’t wise to wait that long. A decision neither party would regret. “It’s my style, my story, and my stamp on the game,” Reese said proudly when the September 18 release date was announced. And just like everything else she touches, it broke records.

The Bayou Barbie took to X to share yet another milestone in her growing sneaker legacy. The Reebok Angel Reese 1 “Charm City” colorway, which dropped at 10:00 a.m. EST on Friday, October 24, didn’t stay on shelves for long. “SOLD OUT ALL 4 SHOES!!! #thankyaaaaaaa @Reebok,” Angel wrote on X, celebrating yet another sold-out release!

For those unaware, the “Charm City” drop marked the fourth colorway in Angel Reese’s signature line. Just last month, Reebok unveiled the first three versions of the Reebok Angel Reese 1 (“Diamond Dust,” “Mebounds,” and “Receipts Ready”), each reflecting a different side of Reese’s bold and unapologetic personality. All three debuted at a retail price of $120

Angel Reese first gave fans a glimpse of her signature sneakers during the WNBA All-Star Game, and from that moment, the buzz only grew louder. For two months, anticipation kept building until finally, at 10:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, September 18, Reebok dropped the first three colorways on its website. Within minutes, they were completely sold out! But it doesn’t stop there!

The Bayou Barbie, always the savvy marketer, had been subtly teasing the “Charm City” colorway long before its release. During an August matchup against the Connecticut Sun, she laced up the black-and-purple pair, a bold tribute to her Baltimore roots and the Ravens. The anticipation only grew from there.

And while the drop didn’t vanish in seconds like her first three colorways, Sports Illustrated reported that by Saturday afternoon, the shoes were completely sold out on Reebok’s website.

This was just another off-court success for Angel Reese, who seems to be rewriting history both on and off the hardwood. Recently, she added yet another milestone to her ever-growing list of accomplishments.

Angel Reese makes history

Angel Reese made history this month as the first professional athlete to walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway. The 23-year-old Chicago Sky forward shared the spotlight with supermodels like Bella and Gigi Hadid in a show that shone with glamour, diversity, and star power.

“I really used to work at Smash Burger and now I’m a VS model AHAHHA 😭🤪🥹,” Reese wrote on X to celebrate the moment. The Bayou Barbie made her Victoria’s Secret runway debut in two show-stopping pink-themed looks. Her first outfit was decorated with delicate pink roses and paired with a fluffy shawl covered in oversized blooms. The second showcased a sparkling pink top with a chest cut-out and high slit, completed with silver-and-white angel wings.

It goes without saying that no one matches Reese when it comes to her off-court game. She knows how to build her brand in ways few in the WNBA can. From turning the Mebounds saga into a masterclass in influence to joining the Met Gala host committee, her impact off the court is undeniable. Reese continues to inspire countless fans, and there’s no doubt the Sky forward will achieve even more historic off-court milestones in the future.
