Now, the spotlight shifts once again to Angel Reese, but this time it’s not about rebounds or box scores- it’s about what comes next. The buzz around her offseason plans has reached a fever pitch, especially after rumors swirled about her potential return to the Unrivaled 3×3 league. Fans were certain her name would headline the roster reveal. Yet, as the list of 46 participating players dropped, Reese’s name was nowhere to be found.
While answering fans’ questions about her offseason plans for the latest edition of her Unapologetically Angel podcast, Angel Reese said the following: “This offseason, I am looking forward to resting, vacations, working out, and I already started again, Pilates. I am back in Florida, so I am so happy. This weather is amazing.. Jumping in the pool, doing fun stuff. My podcast, of course, meeting new people. Continuing to build my brand. I have so many big things coming up, and I can’t speak on that. But I’m really, really excited for that.”

In this long list of things Angel Reese has planned this offseason, unfortunately, playing in Unrivaled was nowhere to be heard. The first season of Unrivaled was great for Angel Reese. She played 14 games and averaged 13.3 points and 12.1 rebounds per game.
Playing 3×3 basketball did wonders for her playmaking skills on the basketball court. Though she only averaged 1.9 assists per game in Unrivaled, her production and ability to find open teammates were on full display during the 2025 WNBA season.

Compared to her rookie year, Reese nearly doubled her assists count (1.9 assists per game in 2024 to 3.7 per game in 2025). In the 2026 season, this skill will help Angel Reese elevate her game further, whether with the Chicago Sky or some other franchise.
But coming back to this off-season, what else could Angel Reese be planning to do? We already know how business savvy she is; clearly, she is not just going to rest and vacation during her off-time. So what could she be doing?

Well, when her Reebok Signature Shoe launched, she had already hinted at her future plans.
Is Angel Reese Going on a World Tour?
After the historic launch of Angel Reese’s AR1, she revealed her plans to take the shoe worldwide. In an interview with Swish Cultures, she had said, “I’m going to take it worldwide. I plan on going to, like, a world tour. I haven’t been overseas much, so I want to go overseas. And I know I have a lot of fans in Australia, Tokyo, and in Europe. So, I’m excited to go overseas and kind of show that off.”
And now with her absence from Unrivaled ever so close, this is the perfect time to embark on a world tour.
Professional athletes going on a world tour to promote their brand is nothing new. In fact, many famous athletes have these trips earmarked on their calendars as soon as the season is over.
