I think we’ve let a lot of games slip out of our hands and we’re tired of it.” The Chicago Sky has been crumbling under the mounting losses under its belt: 11 to be precise. While Angel Reese’s statement points to the general frustration of HC Tyler Marsh and the locker room, the team is yet to show any signs of improvement.

Rather, it seems like the weight of these losses is taking a heavy toll on the team. But Reese was having none of it. She stepped up big-time and almost single-handedly led the Sky to an impressive 92-85 win against the Sparks, finishing with a season-best performance of 24 points, 16 rebounds, and 7 assists. This victory gave them only their 5th win of the season. And it was for the history books for Reese, as she became the first W player to score more than 15 rebounds in four consecutive games. Jeez!

Naturally, this win called for a celebration. And as usual, the glamorous Chi-Town Barbie turned heads on social media. Known for her bold outfit choices, Reese shared a three-picture carousal on Instagram and captioned the post as, “Some inspiration in case you forgot.” Reese showed off in a fitted, red halter-neck dress, with a deep neckline and straight blonde hair. The first image captured the backless outfit as the Sky athlete posed in a portrait version. She even let a leg out to highlight the slit at the back of the dress while she turned her head to face the camera. Love her or hate her, you can’t deny that the lady has some serious aura.

Reese has also made the decision to limit the number of comments on her social media post. This decision was taken in the wake of brutal negative comments the Chicago star received in the wake of one of her worst performances of the season against the Phoenix Mercury. Not only did Reese fail to score a single bucket in the first half, but she also finished the game with a measly return of 9 points and a career-low of 2 rebounds, as the Sky went on to lose 109-86.

Angel Reese is built of sterner stuff, as we all know by now. She did not let such negative comments break her resolve. Instead, she silenced them by restricting access. Smart move, girl! She continues to be active on the socials, even posting an emotional message for someone very close.

Angel Reese shares a heartfelt message for her younger brother

It was a proud moment for elder sister Angel Reese when her brother, Julian, fondly known as JuJu, signed the deal with the NBA team, Los Angeles Lakers after the 2025 drafts. As the #1 fan of the former Maryland Terrapins star, Reese wasted absolutely no time in showing off her brother’s big moment across social media.

She shared ADS Sports Management’s congratulatory poster of Juju with the most Angel caption ever: “OPPORTUNITY. COME ONNNNN.” Her excitement was visible as she shared another poster of Juju. Again, in her typical big sister fashion, Angel shared the poster with words everyone would agree with, writing, “Proud is an understatement. TIME TO WORK.”

As a personal trainer, coach, and guide for her brother, Angel has always hyped him on social media and in real life. After all, the two siblings grew up battling head-to-head in their Baltimore driveway and sweating it out together in the off-season, showing that sibling synergy with a dash of competitiveness.

While her brother carved a spot in the pros, can Reese and teammates clinch another win? Currently reeling in the bottom half of the Eastern Conference table with a 5-11 record, Chicago needs to pull itself together and go on a run if it wants to keep the playoff hopes alive.
