I think we’ve let a lot of games slip out of our hands and we’re tired of it.While Angel Reese’s statement points to the general frustration of HC Tyler Marsh and the locker room, the team is yet to show any signs of improvement. Slumping to their third defeat in four games in a close 81-79 encounter against the Washington Mystics, the chaos for the Sky did not end with the loss.

Well, wherever Reese goes, drama is sure to follow. From fashion fits to All-Star voting or limited edition merch, the forward player is a drama queen on social media. While her alluring online presence leaves fans asking for more, her on-court reality narrates a different story. Well, a recent example was after Minnesota Lynx game. “I don’t give a damn if I get fined because that s- cheap,” she said for lack of foul calls. But this is not the first time that the forward player has lost her cool on the court.

Women’s hoops reporter Ken Swift recently pointed out the Sky player’s attitude in a recently concluded game against the Mystics. He took to social media and shared a clip of Angel Reese on X (former Twitter) with, “Don’t worry folks, it’s only bad if it’s a water bottle apparently.” Well, the cameras clearly caught Angel Reese in a controversial moment on the hardwood, minutes before the Sky landed their 13th loss.

While Swift made a sarcastic comment on the post, Reese appears frustrated and angry in the video. The player can be seen walking away from an animated conversation with HC Marsh. But her anger fuels further as she crosses paths with a staff member of the Chicago Sky. In the video, a visibly frustrated Reese slammed the clipboard offered by the female staffer. She can be seen yelling from the sidelines before joining her teammates as the buzzing arena overpowered her voice.

And not once did she turn back to check or see the contents provided. Having said that, a broadcaster calls out Reese’s behavior and says, “That was a lot going on over there on the sidelines for Chicago.” This unruly behavior was shocking for the fans and reporters alike. This frustration stemmed from the ongoing officiating issues since the last game. While the referees could not stop the game from transforming into an overtly physical play, it was the troublesome fouls that soured the experience.

Moreover, frustration got the best of her when Elizabeth Williams fouled Mystics’ Shakira Austen. And the officials did nothing to stop it. This happened with just 2.1 seconds left in the game. However, Austen capitalized on the last minute move and snatched the 81-79 win from the Sky. Despite the loss, Reese finished with an impressive 22 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 assists, and may have some good news to look forward to.

Positive news awaits Angel Reese ahead of the WNBA All-Star game

While Angel Reese has been asking fans to vote her an All-Star ever since the league’s official announcement, the results were underwhelming. Needless to say, the Chicago Sky star was placed seventh place in fan votes. And her players and media votes were not encouraging either. She sat in 12th place, thanks to combined media and player votes. But there was still a sliver of hope.

The official ESPN account took to Instagram and broke the news. Sharing a carousel post with the final players, the media account wrote, “The 2025 WNBA All-Star reserves and starters are set.” The first poster features 12 reserves, including rookies Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen to veterans Courtney Williams and Alyssa Thomas. The first image also features our Chi-Town Barbie as one of the 12 reserves.

Meanwhile, the second poster of “2025 WNBA All-Star Starters” included promising rookie Paige Bueckers, along with Caitlin Clark, Napheesa Collier, and veterans Sabrina Ionescu, Breanna Stewart, and A’ja Wilson, to name a few. These 12 reserves and 12 starters will feature in Team Collier and Team Clark.

As Reese looks forward to the upcoming mid-season exhibition games, how will Chicago Sky head coach Tyler Marsh and the remaining locker room come to terms with the losing streak? With 13 losses in their belt, the playoffs seem like a far-fetched dream for the roster.
