Caitlin Clark missed the Orange Carpet event at the WNBA All-Star Weekend because her foundation was hosting an event in her hometown, Des Moines. However, after that, Clark was constantly under the spotlight at the event. While she didn’t win the All-Star MVP award, she had almost all her peers’ attention thanks to her upcoming signature sneaker.

Clark was grateful to finally play after missing the 2025 All-Star Game due to her groin injury. So when the Team Spoon Captain took to social media, writing “3x All-Star… grateful for it all 🌟✨🩵💙,” in the caption, her comments section flooded with comments from her boyfriend, teammates, fans, and WNBA sponsors.
Clark’s individual milestone of making it to consecutive All-Star lists in her first 3 seasons lined up with a record-breaking exhibition weekend for the WNBA. 2026 WNBA All-Star Game drew 19,783 fans to the United Center, which was the highest audience in All-Star game history, and more than double the attendance Chicago saw when it last hosted the event in 2022.
With an increase in demand to see the league’s top players, ticket prices have also soared. According to Reuters, back in the summer, the cheapest tickets were about $74 in June, then climbed to nearly $120 in mid-July, and in the days leading up to the event, surged to more than $340.
Clark also had players requesting her for a pair of the upcoming Nike Caitlin 1. Unfortunately, Clark only had size 9, and just a handful of players, including Minnesota Lynx guard Courtney Williams and Seattle Storm guard Natisha Hiedeman, could play the All-Star Game wearing those shoes.
McCaffery, LA Sparks star, and Fever teammates celebrated Caitlin Clark
It didn’t take long for Clark’s comment section to become filled with well-wishers and those closest to her. Among those was her partner and NBA G League player Connor McCaffery, who wrote, “So proud of you ❤️.”
He was followed by Clark’s former Iowa teammate, Kate Martin. They took Iowa to two national championship games, entered the WNBA draft together, and have maintained their friendship.
“3/3 proud of you,” the Los Angeles Sparks star commented.
Clark’s Indiana Fever teammates were quick to celebrate along with her, with Kelsey Mitchell commenting, “keep being you, 22.🤩🫶🏾”
Mitchell and Clark, though on opposing sides, had many memorable moments against each other, with the two joking around during the game after hitting shots.
Meanwhile, Aliyah Boston looked ahead to what she believes is still to come, writing, “love your life 🥰🥰 more to come.”
Finally, Lexie Hull also chimed in, with a simple statement of support, writing, “She’s a star!!!”
For Caitlin Clark, becoming a three-time All-Star is a milestone worth celebrating, and judging by the response from everyone over the weekend, bigger moments might lie ahead.
