It feels like Breanna Stewart was born to win. Stewart was a two-time state champion in high school with the Cicero–North Syracuse High School. Then she went to UConn and won the national title all of her four years. As a professional, she has 3 WNBA titles, 3 World Cup gold medals, 3 Olympic gold medals, and even 2 EuroLeague titles. Now the legend has added Unrivaled to the collection.

Playing the 2026 Unrivaled championship and a $600,000 prize pool, Stewart brought her A game in the finals. Going up against Kelsey Plum’s Team Phantom, she scored Team Mist’s first 12 points in the second half, setting the tone for the rest of the game. Her team did not trail again, winning the title with an 80-74 victory.
The final point was quite anticlimactic. Mist was stuck a point away for almost a minute as Phantom racked up a 5-0 run, getting the score to 78-74. Stewart drove to the rim and was initially called for an offensive foul. However, on review it was overturned to a defensive foul to give Stewart a free throw. It was nothing but net for Stewart, giving Mist the title.
“Fortunately, I’ve had situations where the game was on the line before and just focusing on doing it for my team, winning and thinking about celebrating with them, honestly.” She further confirmed that the team will be “divvying up” the prize money, with every player getting $100k each.

Stewart finished with 32 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks and was awarded the Finals MVP. The victory was not without adversity, as Plum pushed Stewart with a 40-point game of her own. However, the supporting cast made all the difference.
Along with Stewart, Arike Ogunbowale added 19 points. Allisha Gray and Alanna Smith chipped in with 12 and 11 points, respectively. On the other hand, Plum had Kiki Iriafen, Tiffany Hayes, Natasha Cloud and Aziaha James scoring 34 points combined.
“I think what I’ll remember most about this Mist Team is the fact that we might not always be the loudest. But we’re definitely going to work the hardest, and we really enjoy each other’s company,” Stewart said. “Everybody came this year with a chip on their shoulder, and we remember that, and we played with that throughout this entire season. When the moment was its biggest, we were ready.” Now that Breanna Stewart and team Mist have gotten to the top, Breanna Stewart is helping her teammates achieve their celebration goals.
Breanna Stewart Turns Guide For Team Mist After Winning Unrivaled
Alanna Smith wanted one thing if they won the Unrivaled Championship: to get drunk. However, her national commitments got in the way. “My ultimate wish would be to just get really, really drunk with my teammates. And I will. But I’m actually heading to Turkey right after this for national team commitments & the qualifiers in Turkey for the World Cup later this year,” She said ahead of the clash. Now that the title is theirs, champagne bottles are opening in the dressing room. But with the help of Breanna Stewart.
“Breanna Stewart said she had to show some of her Mist teammates how to open champagne bottles and properly celebrate in the locker room,” wrote NY Post’s Madelline Kenney. “It’s not that I get used to winning but fortunately, it happens a lot,” Stewart said. “… I want to share that with them.” Stewart is used to opening champagne bottles from all the winning. The Unrivaled co-founder is all about the players and further pressed that she will continue working on player welfare.
“I pride myself on being a winner. And continuing to kind of uplift and build a space for all players,” Stewart said, “and that’s what I’m really excited about.” Now that Unrivaled is all said and done, Breanna Stewart’s entire attention will be on the labor dynamics in the WNBA. She is A WNBPA executive and they still don’t have a CBA. Stewart is fighting for an equitable solution and she is not backing down.
