Breanna Stewart’s relationship with Puma keeps gaining momentum. After releasing four straight signature shoes since 2021, the WNBA star is ready for the next step. Fresh off her seventh All-Star season in 2025, Stewart offered a glimpse of her fifth Puma signature model while spending the offseason in Unrivaled.

As per reports from Nick DePaula, Stewart is suiting up for her second season at Mist BC with the Stewie 5. A recent picture of the shoe shows a vibrant green edition, perfectly matching the Mist BC jersey shades and complemented by a multicolored base in orange, blue, and white.

“FIRST LOOK: The Stewie 5 — @BreannaStewart’s 5th signature shoe with Puma,” the caption of the tweet read.

Puma has yet to confirm an official launch date for Breanna Stewart’s next signature shoe, but the timeline is becoming clearer. According to Baller Shoes DB, the second quarter of 2026 is the likely window. The previous three releases from the Stewie line all arrived during that stretch, making a similar rollout this year feel more like expectation than coincidence.

Moreover, anticipation will also center on the themes Stewart’s fifth signature shoe will bear. For instance, the Stewie 4 had two notable colorways, the Prism Colorway and the special Harry Potter edition. These colorways revolve around Stewart’s personal details, like her daughter Ruby, who inspired the “Ruby” colorway in Stewie 2.

These colorways give Stewart’s shoes an appealing blend and catch the eyes of the fans perfectly. However, with Stewart’s teaser in the Unrivaled, the shoe has caught the attention of many even before the release, similar to her performance in the 3-on-3 tournament, where she is averaging 17.0 points and 7.7 rebounds, helping her side to two victories in three games.

Puma has captured an immense market in the WNBA market, especially with Stewart’s signature shoes. With her upcoming Stewie 5, Breanna Stewart currently leads the active players with the most signature shoes.

While players like Sabrina Ionescu have two signature shoes with NIKE, A’ja Wilson and Angel Reese have one each with NIKE and Reebok, respectively. Moreover, this impact has transcended to the NBA, where players like Michael Porter Jr. have used sneakers from her collection.

How have Breanna Stewart’s previous Stewie editions impacted WNBA?

In 2021, when Breanna Stewart joined Puma, the German brand wasted no time in using her fandom. It released the Stewie 1 immediately next year. It had several variants, including the “Four Time” edition that commemorates her four NCAA Championships.

Since then, Stewart’s Stewie shoe line is one of Puma’s hottest prospects. And thereby it launched the next three editions in back-to-back years. The Stewie 3, launched in 2024, also had special variants based on her personal life. The “Golden Trumphet Tree” represents the 2020 Olympics, and the “Japanese Cherry Blossoms” represent the Tokyo Olympics.

With Stewart, the Puma has redefined the craze of signature shoes among WNBA athletes. Before Stewie 1, the last WNBA player to receive a signature show was Candace Parker, ten years ago. But after the Stewie 1, several athletes, including Sabrina Ionsecue, have received their dues from respective brands.

Puma’s upcoming Stewie 5 will also be a test of the German brand’s ability to hold a share of the WNBA sneaker market ahead of Caitlin Clark’s signature shoe release, scheduled for later this year.
