“I was just explaining things. That was really fun. Getting to spend time with Taylor and then also Travis (Kelce) played really well that game, the Chiefs won,” said Cailtin Clark back in July. The Indiana Fever star created an uproar back in January when she attended a Kansas City Chiefs matchup and got to sit side-by-side with Taylor Swift herself! Since that moment, Caitlin Clark has continued highlighting her bond with the 14x Grammy Award winner. Now, as Swift made her first public appearance at a Chiefs game at the start of the season, Clark once again shared the spotlight.

The Kansas City Chiefs are currently going up against the Detroit Lions as part of one of the multiple matchups taking place on ‘Sunday Night Football’. The crowd at the Arrowhead Stadium and the broadcast captured Taylor Swift at her usual suite. Caitlin Clark was also present there, and the singer and the WNBA star were seen engaging in a brief conversation after Swift greeted Travis’ dad, Ed Kelce. Clark was wearing a Kansas City Chiefs-themed jacket, openly showing her support for the team that has, at this point, gone 2-3 in the regular season.

Clark has been a certified ‘Tayvis’ follower for quite a while. Longtime fans of the WNBA star might remember her attending Swift’s Eras Tour in Minneapolis in 2023, and how she was invited to the VIP tent during the singer’s November 2024 stop in Indianapolis, where she got to meet the famed (and now engaged) couple.

Clark has also been a guest on Travis and Jason Kelce’s ‘New Heights’ podcast back in January. She was among the wide group of celebrities who congratulated the couple after they got engaged back in late August, with Clark reposting the engagement on her Instagram Story, along with Swift’s song “So High School,” playing over it. Now, by joining the singer and the Kelce family, Caitlin Clark represented a crossover moment between three of America’s biggest sporting and entertainment figures.

The Indiana Fever point guard’s recent appearance marks another instance of her confirming her loyalty to Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’ squad. However, there wasn’t any need for that, as she had already done the same just a few days ago.

Caitlin Clark Got Praised By Taylor Swift’s Future Sister-In-Law For Not Wearing Colts Jersey

Back on last Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts invited the Fever to their game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Everyone, including Caitlin Clark, received a Colts jersey with Clark’s ’22’ written on the back. However, when the camera panned to show the Fever squad in attendance, the 2024 Rookie of the Year was the only one who hadn’t donned the blue colors.

After the footage went viral, Kylie Kelce, wife of Travis Kelce’s brother Jason, appeared on the ‘Not Gonna Lie‘ podcast and said, “Nailed it. You f—– nailed that. I co-sign this decision very hard.”

Having grown up in West Des Moines, Iowa, just a few hours from Kansas City, Clark’s love for the Chiefs goes way beyond just her support of ‘Tayvis’. One of the first instances of the same gaining traction was when Clark publicly traded jerseys with wide receiver Rashee Rice while attending a Chiefs game when she was a senior in college in December 2023.

When discussing her reason for supporting the team, Clark admitted that “My dad was a big Chiefs fan growing up. People think I’m like a bandwagon Chiefs fan, I’m like ‘No, I was there before Patrick [Mahomes] and Travis.’ We were ride or dies, so we’ve been big fans.” Ride-or-die indeed.
