It’s not just the WNBA that has witnessed Caitlin Clark’s excellence on the court. In fact, her skills have been a spectacle for quite some time. From being an Iowa superstar to her current role as an Indiana Fever phenom, Clark’s dominance has made her the runaway favorite to claim the Rookie of the Year Award this season. But it seems hooping isn’t the only talent Clark has. Perhaps she could try her hand at broadcasting in the future.

On September 21st, Clark’s Fever teammate, Lexi Hull, posted a hilarious video of her on TikTok where she showcased her play-by-play skills for baseball. Meanwhile, she also provided commentary for the game between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Philadelphia Phillies. “POV: your friend says she’d be a good commentator,” read the caption by Hull.

Despite being unfamiliar with the majority of the roster on the field, it’s hard to deny that Clark has the tone and cadence down. Maybe she could be a perfect fit alongside Phillies broadcaster, Tom McCarthy. “And that ball is hit to the shortstop. Rojas throws over to first base, and that’s not going to be an out. That’s an infield single by Contreras,” commented Clark, while Hull was in tears laughing in the background.

It seemed as if Caitlin Clark was even better than McCarthy, who’s in the 17th year of his second tour of duty with the Phillies. The 22-year-old even commented under Hull’s post, “Phillies, hire me 🥺.” Could we see the former Iowa star try her hands at a different profession? The Fever rookie has already displayed her talents in soccer in high school, and she was even taking some swings in the Indianapolis Indians’ batting cage last Thursday.

Maybe she could make an appearance in the booth during the MLB postseason too, if she has some time off after the WNBA season, as the Fever just ended the league’s longest playoff drought.

Can Caitlin Clark create more history after ending Indiana’s 8-year drought?

Even this season, the Fever had a rough start. For Clark & Co., the beginning of the regular season wasn’t as expected. They struggled to find their footing and lost eight of their first ten games. but everything changed after they returned from the month-long Olympics break. They turned things around and won eight of their first ten games after the season resumed.

The standout, Clark, was even more dominant. Averaging 19.2 points with 8.4 assists per game, Clark went on to break individual records on the go, including single-season assists, most points as a rookie, and many more. Now, Clark and the Fever will be aiming to go as far as possible in their first postseason appearance since 2016.

On September 22nd, they will face off against the No. 3 seed Connecticut Sun in Game 1 of the best-of-three series. While the Fever are underdogs in the series as the No. 6 seed, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them pull off an upset. In the regular season, the Sun won their first three matchups against Indiana, while the Fever got the better of them in their last game on August 28. If the Fever face an early elimination, Caitlin Clark may enlist the MLB postseason booth as an option.
