Back when Caitlin Clark said, “2026 will be the best yet,” she meant it. The WNBA offseason hasn’t slowed her down; if anything, it has given Clark a bigger platform to make an impact off the court. And what better way to open the new year than by giving back to the community?

The Caitlin Clark Foundation recently announced a $100,000 contribution tied to Caitlin’s Crunch Time, a community-focused initiative powered by grocery partner Hy-Vee. While the donation was made in December, it was just recently shared through the foundation’s Instagram page.
In their post, the non-profit wrote that “through a $100,000 donation connected to Caitlin’s Crunch Time, Hy-Vee is helping advance the mission of the Caitlin Clark Foundation across education, nutrition, and sports. Every box sold directs proceeds back into communities, supporting programs that create meaningful opportunities for kids.”

The message also thanked Hy-Vee for its ongoing partnership, crediting the retailer for helping transform small moments into lasting impact for children across multiple communities.
Over the past year, the foundation has helped deliver 22,000 brand-new children’s books, distributed 1,500 backpacks filled with school supplies, provided nutritious meals for students through local partnerships, and funded four new multi-use basketball courts designed to give kids free access to play.

Each effort, the foundation noted, centered on opening “doors for kids to learn, grow, and thrive through education, nutrition, and sports.”

Those initiatives were supported by partners including Nike, Gatorade, State Farm, Scholastic, Lilly, and Hy-Vee. While Clark remains one of the biggest stars in the WNBA, through her non-profit, her influence now stretches well beyond basketball, using her name, reach, and partnerships to invest directly in the next generation.

“I started the Caitlin Clark Foundation because I want to inspire and support others, especially young people, to chase their dreams and give back to their communities,” the Indiana Fever star said back in 2023. “It’s about making a lasting impact and creating opportunities for those who need it most.”
As Clark continues to expand her impact off the court, she’s also quietly laying the groundwork for what could be one of the biggest chapters of her career yet.

Caitlin Clark offers first hint at long-awaited Nike signature shoe
After an early exit from the 2025 WNBA season due to an injury, in her recent appearance on the New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce, the Fever guard briefly opened up about her long-awaited Nike signature shoe, a project that has been in development for more than a year now.
Caitlin Clark, who signed with Nike as a signature athlete in 2022 and released her first apparel collection with the brand and introduced her interlocking “CC” logo earlier this year, explained that the shoe design process has been deeply personal for her.

While she didn’t share full details about the upcoming shoe, she stressed that performance and feel have guided the process.
According to Clark, the technology Nike plans to use in her shoe hasn’t previously appeared in any of the brand’s basketball releases, a detail that has only added to her excitement throughout the process. While she frequently plays in Kobe models herself, Clark made it clear that her signature shoe won’t simply mirror what already exists; it will be a unique creation on its own.
Clark’s signature shoes are expected to debut in spring 2026, marking another major milestone in her growing status in the world of women’s basketball.
