Even from the sidelines, Caitlin Clark knows how to make an impact. Though she wasn’t suited up, her presence alone was enough to light up the arena. Clark may have been sidelined with a groin injury, but that didn’t stop her from winning over fans once again. Despite missing the Indiana Fever versus the Chicago Sky game, Clark made sure she left all her fans satisfied.

She showed up at the United Center not just to watch the game, but also to sign autographs and greet fans. She spent almost half an hour making rounds around the court. Why? So she could sign autographs for all the fans present there. This warm gesture has won the approval of the internet.

Even Kelsey Mitchell and Sophie Cunningham joined Caitlin Clark in signing autographs for fans. In the 2025 season, Clark has averaged 16.5 points and 8.8 assists per game. But that was before her groin injury sent her to the bench on July 15. The Indiana Fever shared that she underwent further medical evaluations, and there is no fixed time that she will make her way back to the hardwood.

However, injury or not, Clark knows how to keep her fans smiling. During the game, she mimicked Shedeur Sanders’ signature watch flex celebration, which had the crowd in splits. Why? While Sanders flaunts his $70,000 watch, Clark playfully showed off her new Whoop band instead. However, the Indiana guard got a surprise of her own before the game started.

Caitlin Clark and co get a surprise moment before the Fever-Sky game

Moments before the game, the Indiana Fever locker room got a surprise visit from country musician Wynonna Judd. The two country fans that were most excited to meet her were none other than Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham. The latter was the most excited one of the bunch, who warmly hugged Judd when she entered.

“You are just a star. You’re awesome.” These were the words of Cunningham as she embraced the country singer. Later, the trio of Clark, Hull, and Cunningham posed with the legendary country singer. Clark is a well-known fan of country music. In 2024, she joined country artist Jordan Davis alongside teammate Lexi Hull to perform at the Everwise Amphitheater. They sang along to Buy Dirt, a hit country track by Jordan Davis.

Furthermore, the WNBA player received a warmhearted message from country singer and one of her favorite artists, Luke Combs, when she was drafted in 2024. This goes on to show that Clark has a deep-rooted love for country music, which shone bright when she met Hudd. While Clark’s dream came true when she met legendary artist Wynonna Judd, her fans are still waiting for theirs. Their dream? To see the Indiana Fever guard recover and return to the court. Until then, they’ll have to wait a little longer.
