Caitlin Clark has fond memories of her College Basketball days. Representing the Iowa Hawkeyes in NCAAW, Caitlin Clark broke several records and took the Women’s Basketball college program to new heights. The 23-year-old led the Iowa Hawkeyes to back-to-back NCAAW Tournament Finals, losing on both occasions.

However, she couldn’t have done it alone, and one key member of that team was Monika Czinano, who ended up entering the 2023 WNBA Draft. Caitlin Clark and Czinano were together called the Law Firm, with both influential in their first run all the way to the Final before losing to the LSU Tigers in the 2022-23 season.
Monika Czinano celebrates her birthday on the 20th of January, and it seems there is no love lost between her and Caitlin Clark. The 23-year-old took to Instagram, uploading a story to wish her former teammate with the caption,” Happy birthday to the mikan goat; throwback to our prime together.” The uploaded story includes pictures from their time on court representing the Iowa Hawkeyes during their college basketball years, along with another image of them enjoying themselves away from the court.

Czinano was declared for the 2023 WNBA draft and was ultimately picked up in the third round by the Los Angeles Sparks before being waived without even playing an official league game. The former Iowa Hawkeyes star subsequently plied her trade in Hungary for the TFSE-MTK Budapest in the 2023-24 season before announcing her retirement in favor of pursuing a career in medicine.
Iowa fans will likely remember the dominance of Clark as well as Czinano, famously known as “The Law Firm,” as very few duos have had the same impact on the program.
