Caitlin Clark is gearing up for a strong 2026 return. Just a few days ago, she reposted the Indiana Fever’s post dedicated to their fans. She was seen signing autographs for the crowd around her. “Time to get back to a lot of this,” she wrote. A comeback story, along with her Nike signature shoes, this year is supposed to be a landmark for the Indiana Fever star. And she has already made her first big announcement of the year.

“Friday at the office 💼💛🩵⭐️” She captioned her post with a group of photos from practice. The highlight of her practice tape was that she was wearing shoes that were yet to be released, her new PEs. While the exact name of the model remains under wraps, Clark’s Instagram post gave a good look at the design.

The PE’s have a white faux reptile skin upper with black Swooshes, and contrasting colors of blue and yellow. Blue is reserved for the right, while yellow is for the left. These bright colors are boldly present on the heel counter and outsole as well, with the red Kobe sheath logo on the tongue completing the design.

Clark not only gave her fans a first impression of her new shoes but also made an unexpected offer. “If you can guess what these are, I’ll give you a pair,” Clark wrote in her story, asking the fans to guess the theme. Naturally, fans were left stunned with this new announcement and started the guessing game to earn the new kicks from Caitlin Clark herself.

Fans Weave Theories After First Impressions Of New Caitlin Clark PE

“Damn, I want them 🔥,” one wrote. “These are so tuff” wrote another. Clark’s previous two Kobe colorways, the Nike Kobe 5 ‘Protro Indiana Fever and Kobe 6 Protro ‘Caitlin Clark’, sold out within minutes. There have been plenty of other Clark player editions that are yet to be released to the public.

“This is Warriors Steph Curry’s theme. She wants him to sign with Nike,” guessed a fan. A very possible answer since the Golden State Warriors have blue and yellow as their primary colours. Curry has been heavily linked with Nike after leaving Under Armour last year.

In addition, there were reports that Under Armour’s lack of intent in signing Clark played a part in Curry leaving the brand. So, if Nike were to sign Curry, a Caitlin Clark PE with his theme would make perfect sense in terms of branding and marketing. However, it remains speculation as Curry is still a free agent. On the other hand, another fan had a different theory.

“Iowa ✈️ Indy colorway! So sick,” wrote a fan. Another possible theme with Clark’s roots in Iowa stands ever so relevant in her career. Nevertheless, the color patterns are slightly off in this guess, as the blue in Iowa is darker than the one in the PE’s. Nevertheless, it is still possible that this PE would be named after her college team. While most fans celebrated the new announcement, the requests for her signature shoe still continued.

“Cool shoes, but when are we getting HER shoes??” asked a fan. Clark and Nike have confirmed that her shoes are set to drop this year, but with no confirmed release date. The fans have been waiting for Caitlin Clark 1s for a while now, and she has raised the expectations. “The technology that we’re going to put into it isn’t anything that they’ve ever put into a basketball shoe before,” Clark said. The hype for Caitlin Clark 1s is unreal. Nike would have to give an update regarding the release to satisfy the fans.
