Caitlin Clark brought a very special date to the All-Star weekend festivities to make a point. Her brother, Colin is like us, infuriated with the situation that put her second All-Star stint in jeopardy. He already spoke out about the glaring issue he blames for CC’s injury. It wasn’t enough apparently. Clark brought her brother to the Indianapolis party with Fever coach, Stephanie White, former Iowa teammate, Kate Martin, and Lynx’s Courtney Williams. It wasn’t just lighthearted and glamorous. The Clark siblings and some WNBA players hit out at the league.

When she brought Colin to the Studbudz party, he had to make his feelings known. Props to Courtney Williams for encouraging him. Once Caitlin Clark put her brother on Williams’ live stream, he made a blunt statement.

Fix the reffing, WNBA, it’s bad though.” ‘Nuff said.

For most of the live stream, Clark was not visible. She told Williams she was actually watching it instead of participating. When she did, she gave her brother the mic.

Colin initially kept it casual with a little humble self-promotion. With Williams prodding him, he dropped that bomb and ended it by saying that the officiating, “is bad.”

And it’s coming when fans almost feared there’d be no CC at the All-Star Weekend at all. But she made use of that Studbudz event to once again call out the officials.

Caitlin Clark’s brother has a grudge

For Caitlin Clark, things aren’t going as great as we’d hoped. First the Fever lost to the Liberty in Barclays. Then she reportedly attended the first in-person CBA discussions between the league and the WNBPA, which didn’t turn out fruitful. Now there’s doubts about her playing in the All-Star game with her groin injury.

On Tuesday, Clark made a tearful exit off the court with a more aggravated injury – her second serious one this year and just days before All-Star Weekend. After the game, Colin – with a humble 9k followers combined on Instagram and X that he was promoting – lashed out at the league.

Make no mistake, this is on the reffing,” he said in the now-deleted post. Fans agreed that the officials ignored aggressive physical play directed at the Indiana superstar.

It may be endorsed by his older sister too. During Tuesday’s game, Clark yelled at a ref to grow up. When the ref said something, she nearly blew up. She narrowly escaped an ejection with coaches pulling her out of the altercation. Clark finished the game with 14 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and a steal in an 85-77 win over the Connecticut Sun.

Even if Colin’s post is gone, the sentiment clearly remains. The Clark siblings are putting Caitlin’s safety on the WNBA.
