The Indiana Fever are riding a wave of excitement this season with Caitlin Clark holding the reins! After the new-look Fever team ended their seven-year playoff drought last season, they’re looking to go all the way! Their start to the season hasn’t been perfect, with Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham missing some crucial games, but they look like they got their rhythm back against the Mystics.
A crucial part of the Indiana Fever offense is forward Aliyah Boston. The six-foot-five forward has been crucial in Indiana’s campaign for the last three season. And this year? She’s been shining bright! Her averages of about 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists a game are impressive, but they don’t reflect her true impact on the floor. So, we know her report on the court has been great, but the Fever forward had amazing news to share with her fans outside the court as well!
In a partnership post with Zillow, Boston revealed that she was on the verge of buying a home with her family. The collaboration Instagram post showed the Indiana Fever star touring two homes, and getting up to a lot of fun shenanigans. Of course, buying a house isn’t easy, but Boston is putting in the time and energy!

Even though the first house they toured was quite amazing, it seemed like Boston’s heart was set on the second house! A five bedroom, three and a half bath, and 3200 sq. ft abode of pure luxury. Not to mention, there were signs–a mirror, a movie theatre, and a whole lot of blessings! “Oh my gosh, I’m getting goosebumps!” Her mother said, and that just about sealed the deal. However, the final decision is up to the dad, and we’re sure there will be another video that’s coming soon.
This amazing news comes just a day before Indiana Fever’s rematch with Chicago Sky, which is quite an important fixture on their calendar. Last time, Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston combined for nearly 40 points, demolishing their supposed rivals. However, Indiana’s rhythm has gotten disturbed in between with Clark’s left quad injury.
It will be interesting to see how Caitlin Clark’s injury will impact the team’s morale ahead of such an important game. But what’s the update with her fitness? Will she be playing against the Chicago Sky? Let’s find out!

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) reacts after being injured during the first half of an WNBA basketball game against the Connecticut Sun, Monday, May 20, 2024, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
And as for her recovery? “I’ll miss this weekend’s game [against the Chicago Sky], but after that, it’s day-by-day and see how I feel, and just turn to the medical staff and what they think.” After all, muscle strains don’t exactly have a set return to sport timeline. It will all depend on how Caitlin Clark is feeling, and whether her quadriceps are bearing the intense load of the sport.

Even though Clark loves to compete, she understood the importance of taking her time during this period of recovery. “I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress and I feel good, and I’m not going to rush coming back.” She said. “It’s just not worth it.” And we agree!
The Indiana Fever star’s absence has certainly been felt throughout women’s basketball, but it’s better for her to take her time and allow her body some rest. We can’t wait to see her back on the court, shooting daggers and throwing dimes!
