Last year, Caitlin Clark revealed in a Sports Illustrated video that she would be a chef by profession if she did not pursue basketball. Clark then declared herself a very good cook and shared that she recently made fudgy brownies. But apart from brownies, the Indiana Fever star is also a self-proclaimed chocolate chip cookie connoisseur. However, Clark’s love for baked treats does not mean she loves every type of cookie.

“I’m not going to lie, oatmeal raisin is not a cookie, and I’m a big cookie connoisseur. I think it should be qualified as like a granola bar. It’s not a cookie,” Clark said in her appearance on the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast.
“I thought you were going to say it’s a**,” Kelce said to Clark, to which Clark replied, “I mean, it is.”
Kelce later asked Clark what she could get the three-time All-Star if she ever visited Gainbridge Fieldhouse to watch her play.
“A warm chocolate chip cookie. Not a warm oatmeal raisin cookie,” Clark replied, reiterating her dislike of oatmeal raisin cookies. “I will say I will take a warm Toll House chocolate chip cookie even. I’ll accept that. That’s easy,” the Fever star doubled down on her demands.
Apart from cookies, Clark expressed her taste for a Philly Cheesesteak.
Clark’s love for cookies has also been reflected on the court. Before she debuted her signature Nike Caitlin 1 line, Clark used to wear Nike Kobe PE 6s. In one of many collaborations, Clark wore a special “Cookie Monster” edition, a beloved Sesame Street character, against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings on July 13, 2025.
This was not the only time Clark collaborated with Cookie Monster. Recently, she teamed up with the Sesame Street character to create the “greatest cookie of all time” in an Xfinity advertisement. Clark and Cookie Monster began researching the “greatest cookie recipe” and locked in once they figured out the ingredients. After several tries and a power cut, the unlikely duo was successful in their quest.
The 24-year-old has never shied away from her love for cookies on social media. Back in February, she replied to LeBron James’ NBA diet sacrifices, where he stated that he needed to avoid the consumption of chocolate chip cookies. “I’d rather retire than do this. This is why he’s him,” Clark said about James’ commitment to the game on Instagram.
Two months later, when the Chicago Cubs announced that they were launching a contest to find the best chocolate chip cookie recipe for Wrigley Field concessions, the Fever star couldn’t resist.
“Would love to be the taste tester,” she wrote on X.
Chocolate chip cookies are now part of Clark’s identity, and it wouldn’t be surprising if she celebrates winning a WNBA championship with the Indiana Fever with the baked treats.
