As the WNBA championship celebrations subside, some Aces are now shifting their focus towards representing Team USA in upcoming exhibition games. Known for their exceptional talents, Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young are expected to bring their Aces’ mentality to the court and engage in an epic showdown against Duke. The anticipation for this exhibition game is high, as fans eagerly await the clash of these basketball powerhouses.

The Las Vegas Aces showcased their dominance on October 19 at the Barclay’s Center, securing a thrilling victory and solidifying their status as back-to-back champions. The atmosphere was electric as the Aces unleashed their formidable skills, leaving the crowd in awe. The margin of victory was slim, but it only emphasized the Aces’ resilience and determination to reclaim their championship title. With this triumph, the Las Vegas Aces have maintained their position as the number one seed in the league, further asserting their dominance.

The United States Olympic team is getting ready for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. In preparation, the team will hold a three-day training camp and play exhibition matches against Tennessee and Duke. On November 5, the national team will compete against the Tennessee Lady Vols in Knoxville, followed by a game against the Duke Blue Devils on November 12. The team will also have a training camp in Atlanta from November 7-9 to help them win an eighth consecutive Olympic gold medal. With many familiar faces running along to flag for the USA, Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young are two key players to participate in the roster, which is a proud accolade in their young resume.

Several WNBA players are currently dealing with personal issues or injuries. A’ja Wilson, who recently led the Las Vegas Aces to the WNBA championship, is wearing a cast on her left wrist. Breanna Stewart is focused on giving birth to her second child with her partner, while Chelsea Gray is recovering from a foot ailment that has prevented her from attending Duke University.

However, Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner, Kahleah Copper, Allisha Gray, Rhyne Howard, Sabrina Ionescu, and Azurá Stevens are all scheduled to participate in both Olympic events, along with Jackie Young and Kelsey Plum, in additional training camps.
