Since coming back from the concussion protocol, Paige Bueckers has been on a tear. She has 111 points in her last 5 games since coming back. That’s 22.2 points a game. But despite her stellar individual performances, the wins just haven’t followed. The Dallas Wings continue to struggle, holding the second-worst record in the league at 3-12. Two of those wins came during the last 5 games.

Next up, it’s the Allisha Gray-led Atlanta Dream, who have been silently asserting themselves as one of the teams to watch out for this season. With 4 wins in their last 5 games, they’re carrying some serious momentum heading into the game. The prospect of Paige going up against one of the best players in the league this season, Allisha Gray, is definitely something to watch out for. She is averaging 20.1 points per game, while the rookie is averaging 18.2. Let’s dive into the injury report, starting 5, and try to predict the result of the game.

Where to watch?

You can watch these two teams clash on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. The tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET. For those unable to attend the game, don’t worry, we have got you covered on that front as well! The game will be broadcast on Peachtree TV and KFAA. It can also be viewed by taking the WNBA pass.

Injury Report a worry for the Dallas Wings

Heading into tonight’s matchup, Karl Smesko has little to worry about. But for Coach Koclanes? His list of concerns has seemingly no end.

Tyasha Harris is now ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. And to make matters worse, Maddy Siegrist is also set to miss extended time with a knee issue of her own. Luisa Geiselsoder and Teaira McCowan are unavailable until July 3 due to EuroBasket duties. DiJonai Carrington, who missed the last game against the Mystics with a rib injury, is a game-time decision for the Dallas Wings. That’s potentially 5 important players out for the game.

Prediction: Can the Dallas Wings win against the high-flying Dream?

The Dallas Wings are heading into this one seriously shorthanded. A team that already struggled with depth is now potentially missing five key players. On top of that, the Wings have just 1 win in 6 attempts at home. Not a record to be proud of. Naturally, ESPN gives the Dream a 56.6 % chance of coming away with a victory.

But when you look deeper into the numbers, you come across more factors. In their last 10 games, the Dream have been scoring 85.7 points per game while allowing 74.9 points per game. On the flip side, Wings are scoring 81.4 points a game while allowing 87.4 points a game. The defensive issues in Dallas are hard to ignore, and that could very well be the difference tonight.

It will certainly be tough for the Dallas defense to go up against a side that leads the league in three-pointers made per game (10.6) and ranks second in rebounding (36.2 per game). Paige does have a reliable ally in Arike Ogunbowale, who is averaging roughly 17 points a game. But if DiJonai Carrington sits out again, the scoring options beyond those two start to look pretty thin.

On the other hand, the Dream has 3 players averaging double digits, and this doesn’t even include Britney Griner. On paper, this one’s looking like a comfortable win for Atlanta. But what do you think? Who’s coming out on top tonight? Drop your predictions in the comments below!
